Where digital art becomes sculptural art
At TBG Design Studio, colorful digital artwork is printed onto commercial grade laminate and laser cut into various shapes. From there, strands are assembled and connected before being hung from a wood, MDF, or acrylic hanger to create sculptural mobiles and wall hangings.
All artwork created by Terry Brodie Greene. of TBG Design Studio in greater Palm Springs. Pieces range from small solo hangings and groupings to large scale custom installations.
Even though commercial grade laminate is water and tear resistant, making it a pretty durable material, these pieces remain airy, flowy and delicate. Perfect for both Residential and Commercial spaces.
These pieces take up a lot of visual space while remaining airy and incredibly lightweight.

Purchased by a private collector, this is a chandelier style mobile with long (50"max) strands of in a mix of shapes in a vibrant and bold print filled with yellow, orange, turquoise and purple. The strands are connected to an 8" silver painted wood hanger with a trio of silver chains for easy hanging.

Purchased by a private collector, this piece was selected by jury as part of the COLOR Exhibition hosted by the Artist Council at the Galen in Palm Desert, CA 10/9/24-11/10/24.
36"x50" sculptural wall hanging. 9 strands of rectangles and circles in a vibrant and bold print filled with yellow, orange, turquoise and purple. The strands are connected to a 36" wood hanger with a silver chain for hanging.

Mobile "Games People Play"
Purchased by a private collector, this is a 12 inch wide chandelier style mobile with 8 brightly colored strands that are approximately 4 feet long. The print is a digitized image of game playing elements and it's been cut into various rectangles and circles.

ABOUT
TBG Design Studio is home to mixed media artist Terry TB Greene. Here, she creates colorful, flowing and vibrant mobiles and sculptural wall hangings and more. Using photos of her own artwork or scenery, she creates digital images that are then printed onto a commercial grade laminate. From there, she uses a Co2 laser to cut the material into her shapes, then arranges, connects and assembles them into striking pieces of art that range from small to large scale installations. She also works with card stock, cast acrylic sheets and cured acrylic paint pieces to create a unique and vibrant mixed media selection of wall art, jewelry, home decor, mobiles and even coloring book style wine glass tags, all of which are customizable.
Born in Indio, raised in the San Fernando Valley, Terry is a self-taught artist and native of Southern California. She is an active member of the Artists Center at the Galen in Palm Desert, regularly displaying her work there. Terry is also an ambassador for the Desert Design District, which supports the local interior design industry. She has two adult sons and lives with her two cats, Myra and Lyla, in Palm Desert, CA.
